| Holiday Sunrise Cocktail Ingredients 3 ounces orange-flavored vodka - 4 ounces cranberry juice blend- 1 ounce grenadine liqueur or syrup - 1 ounce orange juice - 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice Directions 1. In a medium-size pitcher, blend together vodka, cranberry juice, grenadine, orange juice and lemon juice. 2. Add about 1 cup ice and stir to chill. Strain into 2 8-ounce martini glasses. Garnish with lemon or lime peel and serve immediately. Note: This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled.-From Family Circle Magazine - Nov. 2008 |
| Caramel Apple Cocktail Ingredients 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar - 1 wedge lemon - 1-1/2 cups apple cider - 6 tablespoons butterscotch schnapps or apple brandy (such as Calvados) - 1 bottle (750 ml) - sparkling wine, chilled - 8 stemless maraschino cherries Directions 1. Spread cinnamon sugar onto a small plate or saucer. Run the lemon wedge along the rim of eight champagne glasses, then dip rims into cinnamon sugar. Shake off excess. 2. Combine apple cider and schnapps or brandy in a measuring cup. Divide evenly among prepared glasses. Divide sparkling wine evenly among glasses. Garnish each with a maraschino cherry.
